Descrizione generale

The 0.01% water standard is gravimetrically prepared from high-purity water and reagents. Its characterization is performed at an accredited quality control (QC) laboratory according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025. The water content of the standard is measured by direct coulometric Karl Fischer titration.

Please visit ISO certificates and Site Quality Self-Assessments to access the current certificates of accreditation.

In our effort to be more sustainable, we′re going digital with COAs-download them directly from our website. Download your certificate at https://www.sigmaaldrich.com/US/en/documents-search to view certified values, including uncertainty and expiry date.

Applicazioni

It is used as a reference material to verify the accuracy of coulometric Karl Fischer titrators according to ISO 9001 chapter 7.1.5 “Monitoring and measuring resources”. It can also be used to check the accuracy of measured results according to European Pharmacopeia (Ph.Eur.) chapter 2.5.32 “Water Micro Determination”.

Caratteristiche e vantaggi

  • Packed in convenient 8 mL glass ampules. Each box contains 10 single-use ampules
  • Supplied with a batch-specific digital certificate of analysis (CoA) having data on exact measured water content of the batch, uncertainty, method of analysis, the NIST batch, and minimum shelf life
  • Measured and qualified in an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory
  • Directly traceable to SI unit (kg) and verified by secondary reference standards 2890 from NIST
  • Shelf life of 18 months

Confezionamento

SKU-pack size numbers ending with a "3" are SmartChemicals with an RFID tag on the label for seamless data transfer to the instrument, e.g. xxxxxx1003 or xxxxxxx 4003. More information on www.sigmaaldrich.com/SmartChemicals.

Domande

1–4 di 4 domande
  1. Hallo, ist dieser Standard für die Karl-Fischer Ofenmethode geeignet?

    1 risposta
    1. This product is not suitable for the Karl-Fischer oven method. Standards are available specifically for the oven method. Regional Technical Service can provide assistance with selecting the correct standard.

      Utile?

  2. How can I determine the shelf life / expiration / retest date of this product?

    1 risposta
    1. If this product has an expiration or retest date, it will be shown on the Certificate of Analysis (COA, CofA). If there is no retest or expiration date listed on the product's COA, we do not have suitable stability data to determine a shelf life. For these products, the only date on the COA will be the release date; a retest, expiration, or use-by-date will not be displayed.
For all products, we recommend handling per defined conditions as printed in our product literature and website product descriptions. We recommend that products should be routinely inspected by customers to ensure they perform as expected.
For products without retest or expiration dates, our standard warranty of 1 year from the date of shipment is applicable.

  3. How is shipping temperature determined? And how is it related to the product storage temperature?

    1 risposta
    1. Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers. For more information, please refer to the Storage and Transport Conditions document: https://www.sigmaaldrich.com/deepweb/assets/sigmaaldrich/marketing/global/documents/316/622/storage-transport-conditions-mk.pdf

  4. bonjour, avons nous l'information sur la densité du produits en g/cm3? sur la boite ou sur le CoA? merci ref 1.88050

    1 risposta
    1. As stated in the Properties section of the product page, the material has a density of 0.86 g/mL at 20°C.
