Application

D-(-)-Fructose has been used for metabolite determination.[1] It has also been used as a component of cultural media.[2]

General description

Fructose is a monosaccharide. It is present in fruits and vegetables. Fructose is the major carbohydrate in the diet.[3] It binds with glucose to form sucrose. Excessive intake of fructose is associated with obesity, type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease.[4]

If there is no retest or expiration date listed on the product's COA, we do not have suitable stability data to determine a shelf life. For these products, the only date on the COA will be the release date; a retest, expiration, or use-by-date will not be displayed.
