The maximum speeds for concentration spins as per the User Guide are as follows:
• Swinging bucket rotor: 4,000 × g
• Fixed angle rotor: 7,500 × g

These ultrafiltration do not have defined pore sizes. They are characterized by retention of globular proteins, and assigned nominal pore ratings. These MWCO membrane types are found in centrifugal devices with 70, 15, 4, 2, and 0.5 ml volume capacities.
