Application

Phenol may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of phenol in:
  • Air samples from swine and dairy barns by thermal desorption (TD) module coupled with multidimensional gas chromatography (MDGC)-mass spectrometry (MS)/olfactometry (O).[1]
  • Exhaled breath samples from tobacco cigarette and electronic cigarette smokers by GC-MS.[2]
  • Bovine breath samples by solid-phase microextraction (SPME) and GC-MS.[3]
  • Bovine blood samples by headspace in-tube extraction (HS-INTEX) GC-MS.[4]
  • Industrial and urban air samples by TD-GC-MS.[5]

Refer to the product′s Certificate of Analysis for more information on a suitable instrument technique. Contact Technical Service for further support.
