Spectromelt® Materials for Sample Preparation for XRF Analysis

We offer a broad range of Spectromelt® fluxes and other materials for sample preparation in your X-ray fluorescence analysis (XRF) applications. Our product portfolio for XRF sample preparation comprises Spectromelt® borates for fusion (Spectromelt® A and B), numerous additives for fusion, as well as pre-weighted Spectromelt® tablets for grinding and tabletting (Spectromelt® C).

Thanks to their exceptionally high purity and batch consistency, Spectromelt® A and B borates facilitate very homogeneous samples, precise analysis and reduced need for instrument adjustments. Our Spectromelt® C series of XRF reagents has been designed as a grinding and tabletting aid and optimized for automated sample preparation where speed of analysis is essential.

All Spectromelt® reagents feature extensive specifications and each batch is thoroughly analyzed for 22 inorganic trace impurities – for maximum XRF precision.

For elemental analysis with x-ray fluorescence analysis (XRF) we offer a range of different Spectromelt® products for your sample preparation.

For melting with borate materials, we offer a variety of lithium tetraborate, lithium metaborate and sodium tetraborate fluxes. We call them the Spectromelt® A- and B-series. There are two types of materials: granulates and the fused materials. Your sample can be mixed with these Spectromelt® materials in a ratio of 1 to 20 up to 1 to 10, to achieve the expected sample stability.

For the sample preparation by grinding and pressing we offer a special Spectromelt® C-series. All these materials can be used as grinding and tableting aid. To ensure sample stability, your sample can be mixed with these Spectromelt® materials in a ratio of 1 to 1, up to 10 to 1.
