Allgemeine Beschreibung

The MAS-100 Sirius microbial air sampler is a portable, battery-operated device designed for active air sampling to collect and quantify microorganisms in ambient air. Utilizing an impaction principle similar to the Andersen air sampler, it simplifies environmental air monitoring with high efficiency, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
The instrument boasts excellent recovery efficiency, defined by a nominal d50 value of 1.1 µm, with both physical and biological efficiencies validated according to ISO 14698 and EN 17141 for flow rates of 100 and 200 SLPM (standard Liters per minute) and accommodates various plate formats, including 55 mm contact plates and 90 mm settle plates.
The MAS-100 Sirius Flex is fully calibrated and offers flexibility without a perforated lid.
It features an easy plate exchange system with a magnetic closure and includes built-in, browser-based software compliant with 21 CFR Part 11, enabling seamless data transfer via barcode to LIMS or other

Anwendung

The air sampler is designed for active air monitoring in cleanrooms acc. to current GMP guidance such as EU GMP Annex 1, FDA aseptic guide or PIC/S The instrument can be operated either innon-controlled areas as well as in cleanroomsenvironments up to grade A (or ISO 5) without compromising the viableand non-viable particle limits supported by an efficient exhaust HEPA filter.The housing is made of stainless steel with glass covered touchscreen forefficient cleaning and disinfection. The shape of the air path and air exhaustprevents turbulences of unidirectional air flow.
