Application

Potassium disulfite (Potassium metabisulfite) may be use to study is antioxidant effects and ability to preserve food. Potassium disulfite may be used as an inhibitor of yeasts, bacteria, and fungi growth. Potassium metabisulfite may be used to study its potential toxicities in vivo.
