General description
このDMEM-高グルコース培地は、L-アラニル-L-グルタミン、HEPES、またはピルビン酸ナトリウムなどの添加物（共通修飾）を含まない、1倍の完全培地です。 ピリドキシンがピリドキサールに置換されているオリジナルのDMEM-高組成とは異なります。 ピリドキサールは不安定な培地成分です。
Application
ダルベッコ改変イーグル培地(DMEM)は、イーグル基礎培地(BME)を改変したもので、4倍濃度のアミノ酸とビタミンが含まれています。オリジナルの処方には、グルコース1000 mg/Lが含まれ、胚性マウス細胞の培養に使用されていました。それ以降、マウス、ニワトリの細胞のほか、様々な正常細胞やトランスフォーム細胞の初代培養をサポートするために幾通りかの方法で改変が行われてきました。これらの培地は、L-グルタミンとピルビン酸ナトリウムの組み合わせがそれぞれに異なります。また、グルコース濃度が4500 mg/Lまで引き上げられたことから、「DMEM/High」と命名されました。

What are the product numbers for DMEM and EMEM used to grow the 293 and 293T cell lines?

To grow the 293 and 293T cells, the following product recommendations are provided:
For the 293 cell line (product number 85120602), ECACC recommends using EMEM media (EBSS) with 2mM Glutamine, 1% Non Essential Amino Acids (NEAA), and 10% FCS. ECACC uses the product number M4655 for this purpose.
For the 293T cell line (product number 12022001), ECACC recommends using DMEM media with 2mM Glutamine and 10% Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS). ECACC uses the product number D5796 media for sub-culturing this cell line.
