If 0.3% H2O2 (by volume) is to be achieved, it would be necessary to add 0.15 mL of H2O2, which would be 0.5 mL of the 30% solution. If the solution is to be exactly 0.3% H2O2, it would be best to only use 49.5 mL of PBS, to account for the added volume of H2O2 solution. If the 0.3% is to be m/v or v/v, the density would need to be used in order to convert.

The molarity of this product is calculated to be 9.791 M based on a density of 1.11 g/mL, a formula weight of 34.01 g/mol, and a concentration of 30 w/w%. Here is the calculation:
Molarity = Density x concentration x 1000 / formula weight = 1.11 x 0.3 x 1000 / 34.01 = 9.791 M.To make a 100 mM solution, use the Dilution Formula: C1V1 = C2V2 to find the volume V1 of the 30% H2O2 solution needed.
C1 = 9.791 M (concentration of the stock solution)
C2 = 0.1 M (desired concentration)
V2 = 0.001 L + V1 (final volume, which is the sum of 1 mL of water and the volume of H2O2 added)Rearrange the formula to solve for V1:
9.791 x V1 = 0.1 x (0.001 + V1)
V1 = 0.1 x 0.001 / (9.791 - 0.1) = ~0.0000103 L = ~10.3 µLTherefore, approximately 10.3 µL of this product is required for a 100 mM H2O2 solution when mixed with 1 mL of water.

How can I determine the shelf life / expiration / retest date of this product?

If this product has an expiration or retest date, it will be shown on the Certificate of Analysis (COA, CofA). If there is no retest or expiration date listed on the product's COA, we do not have suitable stability data to determine a shelf life. For these products, the only date on the COA will be the release date; a retest, expiration, or use-by-date will not be displayed.

how can we determinate H2O2 concentration in case of 30% by titration , i found way to do this with sodium thiosulfate but they mentioned that is for 0.1% - 5 % con. - can i use it ?

Using a procedure meant for lower concentrations of hydrogen peroxide may lead to less accurate results. This product is not assigned an expiration date. It is assigned a recommended retest date of approximately one year after the quality release date. A recommended retest date is the time during which the product is expected to remain within established stability specifications, provided that it has been stored under defined conditions. After the Retest Date, product samples should be examined to ensure that the product is still in compliance with the established specifications.

The molarity of this product will change slightly from lot to lot, based on the final concentration. The concentration range is 29 - 32 %. The molarity can be calculated using the basic equation (density in g/L x final percentage)/molecular weight. The molarity of a 30 % solution of this product can be calculated by the following:
(1110 g/L X 0.30) / 34.01 = 9.79 M.The volume of product required to prepare 7 mL of 0.005 M H2O2 would be 3.6 ul. For ease of pipetting, it may be more practical to prepare a larger volume. For example:
Use 3.6 uL to prepare 7 mL at 5 mM
Use 7.7 uL to prepare 15 mL at 5 mM
Use 10.3 uL to prepare 20 mL at 5 mMAlternatively, an intermediate working solution can be prepared that would require further dilution.
To prepare a 1 M stock from the 9.79 M concentrate, a dilution may be prepared using the M1V1 =M2V2 formula.
In this case, 1.02 mL of the 9.79 M stock is diluted to 10 mL to achieve a 1 M concentration.
From the 1 M solution dilute 0.035 mL (35 ul) to a final volume of 7 mL to achieve a 5 mM concentration.Helpful?
