2′,4′,6′-Trihydroxyacetophenone monohydrate has been used as a matrix for oligosaccharide and glycopeptide analysis using matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (MALDI/TOF).[1]
Used in MALDI analysis of acidic glycans and glycopeptides in negative ion mode. Lower limit of detection than 6-aza-2-thiothimidine.[2]
