General description

Sebomed basal medium is ideal for controlled studies. It can be used to study the effects of hormones, cytokines, xenobiotics, and calcium on proliferation, differentiation, lipid synthesis, and cytokine production in the cell culture system. The basal medium is free of bovine products and does not contain phenol red or linoleic acid (or any other fatty acid).

Application

Sebomed basal medium has been used to culture immortalized human SZ95 sebocytes.[1][2][3]
